You might be our new Supply Chain & Quality Operations Manager in Copenhagen.


The Satair Supply Chain Quality team located in Copenhagen is responsible for the analysis, approval and surveillance of suppliers for Satair Distribution business. In addition we contribute to the supplier selection and are responsible for the control supplier process (i.e. supplier approval and compliance checks) The Supply Chain & Quality Operations Manager has a large span of external and internal stakeholders and covers all product groups including our General Procurement suppliers.


The job


Your key objectives would be to perform supplier analysis, compliance clearance, approval and corresponding surveillance for all Satair Distribution business incl. AIRBUS A220 in close cooperation with AIRBUS Canada. 


Your Key responsibilities


  • Working with product management and quality interfaces to establish quality and delivery requirements to external supplier(s)
  • Securing a close communication and alignment with product management on supplier approval needs & strategy
  • Collect evidences to allow supplier approval check
  • Analyze supplier evidences and pronounce supplier approvals
  • Perform surveillance and risk management of supplier approval status incl. identify gaps, initiate corrective actions and follow up until final closure


Who are you?


Professional qualifications


  • Degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Quality or a degree as a technician with relevant professional experience
  • Experience in supplier approval/authorization/surveillance management
  • Experience in supplier delivery and quality performance management (incl. root cause analysis, recovery and development)
  • Knowledge of QMS requirements (EN9100, EN9120, …)
  • Knowledge of National Airworthiness Authorities’ requirements (e.g. EASA, FAA, TCA etc.)
  • Experience in working in a transnational environment
  • Excellent communications skills on different hierarchical levels
  • Experience in performing audits and assessments would be a plus
  • Negotiation level in English
  • Experience with GOOGLE Suite and all common MS office tools
  • Knowledge in digitalization opportunities and experience with Palantir Foundry (for AIRBUS Skywise) would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel from time to time
